SmartFOOD helps keep everyday eating simple, regular and considered. The day’s food is planned in advance, the calories counted and the macros balanced according to the package you chose. It saves you putting a menu together, going to the shop, weighing and measuring ingredients, cooking, and most of the time all of that takes.<\/p>\n
You get the whole working day’s food in one go in the morning, so you no longer have to think about what to eat or where to get it. The calorie level you chose helps keep the day’s energy under control, and having food ready for regular meals helps avoid skipping meals on a busy day or eating whatever happens to be to hand.<\/p>\n

At SmartFOOD you can choose between the standard package and the protein package. The standard package is a balanced everyday menu whose macronutrient split follows the Nordic Nutrition Recommendations. The protein package is built above all for someone with an active lifestyle who trains regularly. Both packages have 4 meals a day.<\/p>\n
The standard package’s daily macronutrient split broadly falls between 10-20% protein, 45-60% carbohydrate and 25-40% fat. The protein package averages roughly 30% protein, 40% carbohydrate and 30% fat. More protein helps build and retain muscle mass and, together with regular movement, supports keeping physical capacity.<\/p>\n
The protein package suits regular training and an active lifestyle well, but getting enough protein also matters more as you get older, supporting muscle mass and physical capacity alongside movement.<\/p>\n
Yes. With the standard package you can choose between meat-free, fish-free, lactose-free and gluten-free options. With the protein package you can also choose a vegetarian option.<\/p>\n
Use the SmartFOOD calorie calculator to find your daily energy need. When choosing a calorie level, take your goal, your body weight and your everyday activity into account. The calculator’s result is a guide, and individual energy needs can differ.<\/p>\n
You can add a 200 kcal smoothie to any package, which lets you fine-tune the day’s energy. Adding a smoothie also shifts the day’s macronutrient split slightly.<\/p>\n
Yes. You can choose the package and calorie level according to whether your goal is to lose, maintain or gain weight. To lose weight, the energy you take in has to be less than you need; to gain weight or muscle mass, getting enough energy matters. SmartFOOD makes the day’s energy easier to keep track of, because the calorie level is set in advance.<\/p>\n
You will see the first possible delivery day in the calendar when you order.<\/p>\n
Yes. You can mark pause days in your account no later than 16.00 two days before. For example, a Friday delivery can be paused by 16.00 on Wednesday at the latest. No food is delivered on a pause day and it does not count as a used delivery day – the order period extends automatically by the number of paused delivery days. With a subscription, the start of the next order period and the automatic payment date also move back by the pause days.<\/p>\n
With a one-off order, yes. Tell customer service at info@smartfood.ee no later than 12.00 two working days before. The fee for changing the calorie level is 15 \u20ac.<\/p>\n
If the package with the new calorie level costs more, the difference has to be paid before the change takes effect. If the new price is lower, the difference stays as prepayment for your next order. Prepayment has to be used within one month of the last order ending.<\/p>\n
With a subscription the calorie level cannot be changed. If you want a different calorie level, the existing subscription has to be ended and a new one placed.<\/p>\n
Yes. In your account you can use “Order again”, which copies the choices from an earlier order. You pick a new start date for the new order, and the price is calculated from the price list in force at the time of ordering.<\/p>\n

For example, if you tell us before 12.00 on Monday, the last delivery day is Tuesday and there are no deliveries from Wednesday. If you tell us after 12.00 on Monday, the last delivery day is Wednesday and deliveries end from Thursday.<\/p>\n
When the refund is calculated, delivery days already used are priced at the highest daily rate in force for that package and calorie level, which is the daily rate of the 3-day trial package. This applies whatever the length of the package originally bought. A 50 \u20ac early-termination fee is also deducted from the amount returned.<\/p>\n
If nothing is left to return after the recalculation and the termination fee, no refund is made. Where there is an amount to return, the refund is made within 5 working days of receiving the details needed for it.<\/p>\n
A one-off package has to be used within 3 months of the purchase date. Pause days count towards that period.<\/p>\n
With a one-off order you choose the order period and pay for the whole period at once. A subscription continues automatically in blocks of 5 delivery days, and the next period is charged to your card automatically.<\/p>\n

Pause days move back the end of the current period, the start of the next one and the date of the next automatic payment.<\/p>\n
You can end a subscription in your account, under order management. It has to be ended at least 3 working days before the last delivery day of the current order period. If you end it later, the payment for the next period has already started and the order continues for another 5 delivery days.<\/p>\n
No. The package, calorie level and other main choices that affect the price cannot be changed on an active subscription. If you want a different package or calorie level, the existing subscription has to be ended and a new one placed.<\/p>\n
The price list in force applies to a subscription. We will tell you about a price change before the new price takes effect, and the new price applies from the next order period. You can end the subscription before the new price takes effect, in line with the termination conditions.<\/p>\n
Ordinary discount and coupon codes may not apply to a subscription. Where a campaign or discount code is meant for subscriptions too, that is stated separately in the terms of the offer.<\/p>\n
No. Later subscription periods are paid by automatic card payment, and instalments do not apply to subscriptions.<\/p>\n
Deliveries take place on working days. There are no deliveries at weekends or on non-delivery days set by SmartFOOD. When ordering you will see in the calendar which dates can be chosen. If one or more non-delivery days fall inside the period you chose, the order’s end date extends automatically by that many days.<\/p>\n
SmartFOOD delivers in Tallinn and the surrounding area, in Tartu, P\u00e4rnu and Kuressaare. You will see exactly what is available when you enter your address while ordering. If your address is close to the usual delivery area but the system will not let you choose it, please get in touch.<\/p>\n
In Tallinn delivery takes place on working days between 7.00 and 11.00, and when ordering you can choose a one-hour delivery window that suits you. In the area around Tallinn, early-morning delivery in a thermal box generally takes place between 5.00 and 7.00. In Tartu and P\u00e4rnu delivery is between 10.30 and 12.00, and in Kuressaare between 12.00 and 13.00.<\/p>\n
The courier leaves the food bag in a thermal box at a place agreed in advance, so you do not have to meet the courier. The courier has to be able to reach the agreed place. The thermal box comes with the first delivery, stays with you for the order period and is collected when the order ends. If the thermal box is lost, damaged through your fault or becomes unusable, its cost of 15 \u20ac has to be paid.<\/p>\n
If you have chosen hand-over to the courier, please be reachable during the delivery window you chose. The courier can wait at the address for a maximum of 3 minutes, because the delivery times of the following customers are planned in advance too. If you cannot be reached, the courier moves on to the next delivery.<\/p>\n
Where possible we try to find a solution the same day, but a repeat delivery cannot be guaranteed. If the food bag cannot be handed over, the delivery day still counts as used.<\/p>\n
If the courier cannot hand the bag over and the route makes it impossible to do so before the end of the courier’s working day (which ends at 11.00), the food bag is taken back to the SmartFOOD kitchen near J\u00e4rve keskus. You can then collect it yourself between 12.00 and 15.00, having told customer service by 11.00 at info@smartfood.ee or on +372 505 2801.<\/p>\n
Yes. You can change delivery details in your account until 12.00 the day before. After the deadline the details of the next delivery can no longer be changed, because the courier routes have been planned by then.<\/p>\n
You will see the menu in your account. We show today and tomorrow at the same time, so the next day’s menu is visible one day before delivery. If the menu has not been published yet, a notice about it is shown.<\/p>\n
When putting the menu together we work to the calorie level and macronutrient split of the package chosen. The menu is varied and changes from day to day, and includes different protein sources, grains, vegetables, fruit and the other components of a balanced menu.<\/p>\n
We use fresh, good-quality ingredients and prefer Estonian and seasonal produce where we can. We do not use preservatives, flavour enhancers, colourings, palm oil, white sugar or white salt.<\/p>\n
All SmartFOOD food is prepared in our own professional production kitchen. The kitchen meets food-safety requirements and its operation is supervised by the Agriculture and Food Board (PTA).<\/p>\n
Yes. The food is made from fresh ingredients and is meant to be eaten during its own delivery day. Prepared food is not frozen.<\/p>\n
When ordering you can choose between the dietary options offered with the package. Depending on the package these include, for example, meat-free, fish-free, lactose-free and gluten-free menus. If you have another request or an allergy, write to info@smartfood.ee or call +372 505 2801 before ordering. We will confirm before you order whether the change you want can be made.<\/p>\n
Various allergens are handled in the SmartFOOD kitchen and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free production environment. If you have a food allergy or another health-related restriction, please get in touch before ordering so we can assess whether SmartFOOD is right for you.<\/p>\n
Yes. A 200 kcal smoothie can be added when ordering, where that option is available with the package chosen. Smoothies rotate through the menu and are made with unflavoured yoghurt.<\/p>\n
We send the day’s menu to your e-mail address the evening before. The order numbers are also marked on the food packaging.<\/p>\n
Before heating, take the lid off the box and remove the sauce pot, the salad and anything else that does not need heating. In the oven we recommend using the fan setting and heating the food at up to 100 \u00b0C for about 15 minutes at most. In a microwave, 1.5 to 2 minutes is generally enough.<\/p>\n
Put the food in the fridge as soon as you can after receiving it and keep it at +2 to +6 \u00b0C. The food is made for its own delivery day and we recommend eating it that same day.<\/p>\n
